In a short span of 11 years , SPEEDWINGS Academy For Aviation Services has continued its advancement as a center for learning and public service coupled with excellent international exam results , high profile campus placements and employments in the global aviation industry.

Established in 1995, the Speedwings Academy is the only professional airline academy in India where the A to Z of the airline commercial activities are being taught, handled and managed by Airline professionals and UFTAA Experts.

1996 - Approved as an IATA Authorized Training Center for IATA UFTAA / FIATA and DGR courses by the International Air Transport Association.

1999 - Nominated a Senior Faculty to the IATA/UFTAA Expert Committee for the formulation and testing of all the four levels of UFTAA Courses at Geneva

2002 - Received citation from IATA / ATDI for the FIRST position Question bank preparation.

2003 - The SPEEDWINGS ALUMNI ASSOCIATION was formed to foster friendship and offer guidance and assistance for better placements in India and abroad.

2005 - First Branch opened at Kozhikode, Kerala

2006 - In January, a Joint Venture was formed with AVINASILINGHAM UNIVERSITY FOR WOMEN, Coimbatore ( Tamil Nadu ) to teach IATA UFTAA and other airline courses.

2006 - In March, opened its second Branch at Mavelikara , Kerala

2006- In October, opened its third Branch at Coimbatore , Tamil Nadu.

2007- In January, IATA authorization was received to teach seven NEW IATA Aviation Courses

2007 - In the second quarter, two additional Branches are to be opened in Chenganassery , Kerala and Hyderabad ( Andhra Pradesh )

2007 - In June signed an MOU with Amadeus to provide Amadeus GDS Courses.

2008 - In January, signed a joint venture with KITTS (Kerala Institute of Tourism and Travel Studies) to provide IATA/UFTAA/FIATA and Aviation Courses.

2008 - In February, the first registration for the new IATA Aviation Course IATA/Shipping Perishable Cargo, in the world
