1. No student will be admitted to the Institute, unless his/her application for admission is duly countersigned by the parent/guardian 2. Original Degree certificates are to be produced for verification together with copies. Overseas students must ensure that all transcripts are in English. 3. Overseas students must submit proof of having sufficient financial resources adequate to meet the educational expenses required for the duration of the course. This should be in the form of a recent Bank statement, in original, and must be provided before admission is granted. 4. Admission will be confirmed only after the interview. 5. Fees can be paid in full or in three equal installments, the first installment to be paid at the time of admission. The balance two installments should be paid by the 10th of the month when they are due. Failure to pay the fees on the announced date will attract a fine of Rs.50/- till 17th of the month. If the fees still unpaid after the 17th, he/she will be dismissed from the Academy institution. 6. Fees paid in full, at the beginning of the course, will be entitled for discount of 5% of the total tuition fees. 7. Candidates who are joining for more than one course at a time will get a concession of 10% in the Course fee. 8. Fees once paid for a course, in full or in part, will not be refunded/adjusted/transferred to any other course or person(s). 9. Students should attend the classes punctually. Nobody is allowed to leave the class during class time without the concerned instructor’s permission. 10. Perfect discipline must be maintained in the classrooms and premises. 11. Students removed from the rolls for any misbehavior, expelled from the institution on disciplinary grounds or discontinuing the course at their own risk will not have any kind of claim for refund of fees. 12. Students with less than 50% attendance will not be permitted to appear for the examination. 13. Continuous absence for 15 days without prior permission or any valid reason will lead to the removal of the candidate from the rolls. 14. Periodical class tests will be carried out and the performance of the student will be intimated to the parent/guardian. 15. The Management reserves the right to restrict any student from appearing for any examination , including IATA examinations, if he/she fails to appear or perform satisfactorily in the model examinations. 16. Speedwings Diplomas will only be issued to the students who secure the required minimum pass marks. Passing levels : Grade I (85% & above First Class with Distinction) Grade II (70% & above First Class) Grade III (50% & above Pass) 17. Identity Card : The Identity card provided to the students should be properly exhibited during class hours. If a student is found not wearing the identity card/uniform, he/she will be fined Rs.10/- per day. 18. The Management reserves the right to modify/change the prescribed rules & regulations, syllabus and to re-schedule the class timings. The decision of the Management shall be final and binding on all matters pertaining to the institution and is unquestionable. 19. Any legal matter pertaining to the Institution, is limited within Ernakulam jurisdiction only. 20. Caution Deposit : A caution deposit of Rs.250/- has to be paid at the time of admission which is refundable after deduction of dues, if any. 21. Hostel Accommodation : The Management will assist to find out suitable accommodation for male and female students in nearby hostels. 22. Uniforms : All the students will have to wear the prescribed uniform from Monday to Thursday. 23. Using Mobile Phones during class hours is restricted; if found, the student is liable for punishment. Admission Procedures a) Application for admission to the courses should be made in the prescribed form available along with the Prospectus. Cost of the application form and prospectus is Rs.300/- b) Application form duly filled in should be either submitted in person / sent along with a registration fee of Rs. 2,000/- (6 months course) & Rs. 5,000/- (1 year course) by CASH/DD/MO in favour of Speedwings Aviation Academy. This amount will be adjusted towards the tuition fee. c) Admission notice will be sent to the selected candidates for interview and successful candidates should pay the fees and other related charges within the period stipulated. d) Once a student is admitted and if he/she discontinues the course, the fees for the entire course will have to be paid. e) Original certificates deposited on admission shall not be returned before clearing all the liabilities with the institution. f) Fees should be paid only at the office cash counter and a receipt should be obtained immediately. The Management will not be responsible for any illegal payments. g) Administration office timing will be from 7.30 am to 5 pm (MON-FRI) & 9.30 am to 5 pm (SAT). h). Each student must provide two stamp size & two passport size photographs at the time of admission..
